Stockbridge Councilman Elton Alexander will host his event Keep Stockbridge Beautiful on Saturday, January 16 from 10 a.m. until noon at Stockbridge City Hall located at 4640 North Henry Boulevard in Stockbridge, Georgia. Attendees should park their vehicles at the public parking lot located behind City Hall. Participants should be prepared to beautify the area near Stockbridge Elementary School. Comfortable clothing and face masks are encouraged for the beautification event. All community members are welcomed to attend the public initiative hosted by Councilman Elton Alexander.

“Amazing community involvement, support, and renewed pride in our city is the foundation of Keep Stockbridge Beautiful, ” said Stockbridge Councilman Elton Alexander. “Service to the community by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.  and our very own Daddy King, who called Stockbridge home, provides the model for our annual MLK Jr. service project giving back to our City. Keep Stockbridge Beautiful projects, which possess an unmistakable message of beautification, are priorities in our village. Please volunteer in the sense of neighbor helping neighbor to increase the curb appeal while fellowshipping with our community members.”

Attendance for the event is free. Youth groups are encouraged to attend. Children must be accompanied by supervising adults at all times for Saturday’s initiative. For additional information, please contact Zenovia Pearson at 404-565-5109 or zpearson@cityofstockbridge-ga.gov.
