Georgia Southwestern State University (GSW) student Joseph Maye of Ellenwood was named Rookie of the Year for the Office of Recreation and Wellness at GSW’s 2022 Student Recognition Ceremony on April 21 in the Storm Dome.

This award of recognition is given to a student who is a “new recruit” to the team. This student has distinguished themselves from their peers by their outstanding performance and commitment to the Fitness and Wellness program.
