In an effort to preserve some of the history of our community, The Times is displaying photos of Henry County from the past. If you can tell us anything about the photo shown above, use this form. In the next edition, we’ll reveal the details of the picture and notes readers send us.

Thanks to Joyce Andrews Clark for bringing this photo to us. Ron Willard and Don Mason teamed up to identify the photograph – Front  (l. to r.) Sally Fitzgerald, Anita Tribble, Bonnie Dennis and Shelley Blauvelt. Back (l. to r.) Donna Lunsford, Joyce Andrews, Anna Bell, Unsure, Unsure, Jan Williams, Beth Gilmer and Lourie Willard. Joyce Andrews Clark who is shown, identified the lady in the back row fourth from the left as Angie Cook and she believes the lady to her left is named Maranda.

Anna Bell wrote, “this is a photo of The First State Bank Stockbridge Bookkeeping and Proof Department employees. They were not only my co-coworkers, they were like family to me. I am thankful for being blessed with such a wonderful place to work. We made so many great memories together. I am third from the left on the top row.”

Debbie Boggs wrote, “this is the First State Bank Bookkeeping and Proof Department in the 1980’s.”

Thanks to everyone who wrote in!

This may be the intersection of N.Henry Blvd. and Flippen Rd. in Stockbridge, but I’m not 100% sure.
